The Jedi Order

The Jedi are fictive but even in the fictive context, they did not use qi. They use the Force. You may want to edit this to read "Force" rather than qi.

THANK YOU!!![]

Thank you for contributing your thoughts. I feel that it is important to establish that the Jedi ideology comes from Buddhism, Shaolin, and Hermetic traditions and principles. Star Wars is fictional, and The Jedi Order is a real way of life. Qi is the correct spelling for Chi. I am sure that most think they know what Chi is. I merely wish to point out that Chi is the Force. I am looking for others who are of like mind to work with on developing and evolving this database further. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts! --Trepe 17:20, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Jedi experiences[]

Has anyone had what they would consider to be a mystical experience while following the Jedi tradition? If so, could you describe the experience, how it was achieved, and how it influenced you?

Good Idea[]

This is a great idea! Though I think this would be best in the forum. As for "Force" and "Qi" the wording is as intended. Qi is another word for Chi which is our spiritual force.

Martial Arts[]

Can we add Aikido to this topic please, Aikido is the way of peace, peace with the enemy attacking you. What should be better than this Philosophie for the Jedi? Rather than to attack your enemy, you take his force and use it in a friendly way not getting hurt or neither to hurt your opposite.

I see Kung Fu and Karate both as being the manipulation and redirection of force from you back to origin. I would rather those who know more about this to add/edit their own perception about this.
